10+ years in recon and sales at franchise and independent stores. We built these tools because we were running a lot and couldn't find software that didn't suck — so everything here is shaped by the shop floor, not a boardroom. Built and supported locally in West Michigan.

Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Alec.

I've spent the last 10-plus years in and around car dealerships — and I mean all of it. I've detailed cars in the back lot, sold them on the front line, and run the floor from the management desk. Somewhere along the way I used just about every piece of dealership software out there, from the big franchise platforms to the scrappy little one-off tools.

Then I moved to a smaller independent store, and it hit me: the software that actually helps you run a lot is priced for franchise groups, not for the folks trying to turn a few dozen cars a month. My store just couldn't justify the big-name price tags.

So I built my own. Recon came first — then the ideas kept coming, and Pulse followed. Honestly, I couldn't not build them.

The whole point of Lotly Auto is simple: powerful software that actually works for a dealership, at a price that doesn't make you wince. We're not built for the franchise mega-stores. We're built for the mom-and-pop independent lots — the ones who want to squeeze every dollar of value out of what they pay for, without breaking the bank.
